Proposal 10: Interception In Assembly Spaces

If an Army is intercepted in an assembly space, the intercepting Force may choose to intercept either before or after SPs are activated.

Rules

Add the following to section 4.6.1:

If an Army is intercepted in an assembly space, the intercepting Force may choose to intercept either before or after SPs are activated.

Discussion

Brian Mountford: Does the moving player have to specify whether SPs are being activated (and, if so, how many) in the assembly space before the non-moving player decides whether and when (before or after activation) to intercept?

I'm curious about what situations have arisen where this rule change was important.
