James Harvey Graham, 1837-1881

Death of Harvey J. Graham

Harvey J. Graham, who was injured by a falling timber from the bridge at which he was at work, at Belmont two weeks ago this morning, died at about 10:00 o'clock this a.m. Since receiving his injury he has remained insensible, not even recognizing his nearest relatives. His suffering and agony have been intense even from the moment of receiving the injury up to the hour of his death.

He was a kind and affectionate husband, an indulgent parent, and a genial and social associate. He leaves a wife and two children -- a son and daughter -- to mourn his sad fate.

His family, together with many relatives, have the warmest sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement. Funeral services take place at the late residence of deceased, on Depot Street, tomorrow (Friday) at 12 o'clock m., after which his remains will be taken to Cuba on train 9 for interment."
